No, it hasn’t been fixed lol.
No, it hasn’t been fixed lol.
There are a few streamers/youtubers I love whose RDR2 videos I’ve had to stop watching because they make the wrong choices in their Arthur’s actions and it actually makes me uncomfortable.
I understand your experience. I haven’t had major bugs with Bethesda games since Fallout 3. Both Skyrim and FO4 ran flawlessly to me out of the box. That’s not everyone’s experience, tho, and in FO76 the whole thing is kinda worse because of the online component.
As for you having fun, good for you. I don’t believe…
The fact is the bug is “fixed” by a mod, not by the devs at Bethesda.
If you consider the story being bad and an empty world that was supposed to be a fully fledged MMO as “minor shit” then sure.
Looks to me like what’s going on is that TES games and FO3/4 where good, or at least compelling, experiences. Particularly if you completely ignored the writing in FO4. This one isn’t compelling no matter what, and it’s buggier even than usual and unoptimized to boot.
Bethesda gets free passes because their games are…
You and everyone else on the planet have differing opinions on what constitutes “minor shit.”
FO76 is not the best in class at anything it tries to do though. It gets hate because it’s nothing like the other fallout games. It just has a fallout skin over a multiplayer survival game.
Download games are DRM protected as well...
So you think Bethesda’s idea of “humor” and Interplay’s idea of humor are on par?
Same as any other disc on the current consoles. It’s DRM.
But it’s not best in class. At least Destiny had fun and rewarding combat. FO76 doesn’t.
How about a big “fuck this!” That was my review I made up without wver having played the game.
1) I didn’t say it was easy
I think this may beyond a No or Nope. I think the answer to “should you play this” is “FOH”
The game was primarily developed by Bethesda Game Studios Austin. A team which was working on Battlecry before it was canceled. Collaboration did happen with Bethesda Game Studios proper in Maryland, but as I understand it Austin was the primary team. So It wasn’t a “new” team in terms of creating it from scratch and…
Every time I see a screenshot of this game or a stream of this game, I see that big fucking list of TODO objectives in the top right just screaming text across a huge portion of the screen and I feel sick to my stomach. Bethesda needs to fire its UI designers.
No. They didn’t.
Anyone else miss the old Yes/No system for just this game? I would have loved to see a NO, or better yet NOPE
What is the purpose of a disc if I still need to download an 800 GB game TWICE and have my ISP send me hate mail?
Also, for whatever reason Fallout 76 drove me to appreciate ESO much more. Maybe 76 will have the same turn around as ESO?
