pretty sure most people buy tell tale games on steep sales, would love to see statistics on this

considering the collective price of their licences, I doubt most tell tale games make a profit, especially with the dated engine and deteriorating quality and burnout from the same formula

the best way to create a terrorist is to bomb an innocent civilian

I don’t want to get political here, but as annoyed as I was with Obama’s foreign policy, one thing I thought was good was him putting a tiny bit of accountability into how drone strikes were commisioned

drone pilots can still and have gotten PTSD. Drones at the end of the day are just a means to an end. I think the central issue is moreso our foreign policy leading us to countless wars that really don’t seem to have a light at the end of the tunnel, but that’s a political matter...

ender’s game anyone?

disagreement doesn’t actually imply that it just means a lack of a consensus

first of all, we have no proof this ever happened, second of all, if this is true, that’s honorable of him, but just because one boss suffered for being good to his employees doesn’t justify shitty bosses or just shitty behavior elsewhere

studios be shutting down even IF they’re games sell well, Irrational is the clearest example I can think of rn

honestly for some people, maybe. It’d be more genuine at least

yes, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t be upset at how particularly volatile the gaming industry itself is and the ethical as well as quality issues that ensue when you treat your workers as glorified independent contractors let off once the game ships. Heck, we can talk all day about EA’s record of buying

Witcher 3 is sadly, a huge exception in SO many ways, DLC quality, one of them

Wait a year for any non-multiplayer single player game for the inevitable “Game of the Year” Edition

Games companies frequently treat pre-orders as pre-emptive sales, which fuels the rationality behind allowing such shitty/incompetent behavior. Not pre-ordering on a bigger scale would cause those numbers to drop and cause more concern on the firm’s part to be a bit less of a blatant douchebag. Obviously, a mass

Don’t blame the F2P games that live on this model (I’m a Planetside 2 player in 2018, YES I said planetside) and a lot of these games would’vebeen dead already if they weren’t F2P. Instead, blame the pay to play games (standard 60 dollar games) for adopting these aspects because of their greed

I doubt OP had free 2 play games as his primary focus when mentioning vanity DLC. Obviously a free 2 play game that’s given you a good time deserves that money. With a game costing $60 or an even higher premium, it’s a lot harder to justify that, if it even can imo...

I think Nintendo has been sufficiently good enough to warrant that. Regardless, we all have that SPECIAL franchise that we just cannot help ourselves. We all do. But with the exception of a franchise, you passionately love and a developer you trust won’t screw you, you should follow those guuidelines imo

some would argue that cosmestic DLC counts as DLC that could’ve easily been put into the game (and used to be on older games) but i get your point

Considering the current state of gaming, it’s actually better to take the later release date because half these games are going to be buggy, half complete, games as a service B.S that will gain content or at the very least lose bugs the longer you wait for the game to be ironed out. Also, you’ll find out greater

so much truth here
