I am new to horror video games. I've only been able to watch horror movies alone in the past couple years, and video games seems scarier because you're in control (or not). I've never watched anyone play any RE games, so all these comparisons to the past don't matter to me. I did play the demo about a month ago,

I get it more from visual cues, like watching the person behind the counter at Jo-Ann's cutting fabric for me.

I think that's the difference, yes. I too have tried being empathetic, but then it seems (to me) that those who opposed Obama did it for stupid or hateful reasons. He is a good person.

Yes! Can't remember if I had an aversion to pink back in the day, but I too sought out the folders. I also had tons of stationery.

They're probably all going to be the same, unfortunately. Nothing political in them yet.

One question per comment. Else we can't upvote accordingly.

Do you have any recurring dreams?

I would like to keep this question because I have found most of the answers interesting: What’s a stupid thing you incorrectly believed for a long time?

Plus the books looked brand new, like they'd never been cracked open.

If I had to compare to stuff I've seen, I'd pick the San Junipero episode of Black Mirror.

Bah-dum, ching!

That's an interesting thought. Somehow the closing of one door "revealed" them, which is backwards, but why not?

I thought that, too!

Before she said what it meant, I wondered if she was "The Way," you know how like God is the way and the light and whatever? If you say "The OA" really fast, it almost works.

Ah, thanks.

Ha! And that sound bite has played in my head several times since July.

I was hoping there isn't a second season, but it sounds like that's the plan. I have a lot of questions, too, but I think the viewer is supposed to have questions. And my worry is season two would try to answer those questions, but I won't like the answers.

I like your assessment. I grew up in a nothing town, in a nothing high school, and I normally hate how high school is shown in almost all movies and tv shows. This version didn't feel false to me.

Well, OA didn't know about the rival study. She only knew that Hap came back very upset, and she wondered if he'd killed someone. Yes, he told that hospital worker to go into the abandoned ward, but who knows what was really in there? Or how much investigating occurred?

I hadn't thought of that. I just thought the books were too new for Prairie to have read through them enough to compose her story.
