For the Chev BRZ I think simple and light is key. 2500 lbs with a N/A I4 but completely set up for a turbo setup or an LS and T56 for the people who want to drop one in themselves. Get the geometry on the suspension right but put in cheap parts. Let the aftermarket handle the performance crowd, but make it easy for

You never said best NEW midsize car. My vote is for the 1964-72 GM A-body.

Looks a lot like my current trunk key for my Cutlass...

Dwight told me muscle beats import every time. Every time.

Forgetting a big one: How much do you enjoy your car? I have a truck that probably isn't worth the maintenance costs, but there isn't a truck in existence that I would want more.

Olds had some amazing engineering in the past, but those days were long gone by the time GM got rid of them. Anything that I could want from a new Oldsmobile line-up can easily be achieved with the Buick nameplate (common alpha platform Grand National!). But I still drove my Olds to work today to commemorate the day.

The main reason I prefer windows is hardware support. I use my computer for 3rd party GUI's and they all run on windows exclusively. Until companies move to browser based applications, all of my automotive and automation controllers (ignition and EFI controllers, building controllers, and the like) will remain on

I remember when you could get a free cavalier with the purchase of a corvette...

1970 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. My mother hated this car and my dad was forced to sell it because of me. I've bought many muscle car for the family since to make up for it.

There seems to be a lot of orange peel.

The damn 2005+ mustang seat not returning to its position after going into the back seat always pisses me off much more than it should. But every other car in the world can do it, why not this one?

I love what they're doing with all the crazy expensive cars; now I don't even want to look at the cars I can't afford.

The morning shift description should be: A 5-speed transmission of all the auto news... Don't you think?

It's that 0.5 overdrive with all the highway that makes the difference. 1600rpm @ 100km/h

no sir, averaged over a week of daily commuting. 55kms highway 5 city each way, the corvette never had an L98 with a T56, but it would, and has, done that as well. Its all in how you drive them. Thanks for the interest.

Interestingly the Camaro doesn't look so bad as soon as you think of it in a cartoon context.

L98 with TPI and a T56 6-speed

I have A/C, GPS, bluetooth, fuel injection, power everything, remote door locks, what more do you want? and I covered repair costs for the other 2 things...

If I put $1000 of repairs into my 1985 Regal (which I paid nothing for through trading and building it myself) every year, and continue with my 8L/100kms or ~$2000 of fuel/year @ $1.20/L, I can run my car for 10 years for just the price of this car and not have a tenth the fun.

I guess they had to add them since Nissan now charged the day lights out of the owners.
