I know this was just written to get a response out of people, and I'll bite. I think my name says it all, I always shift 'em. All 3 of my vehicles are standard, 2 of them I converted myself from auto. I can tell you first hand that going from the auto to the manual in both of those cars made them instantly more fun to

Gotta love the Buicks!

"Taught myself to weld," "aluminum plate out on the CNC," Steel 8.8 housing, something doesn't add up.

I am currently looking for a home theater system, what do you guys suggest that isn't stupidly expensive but is easily hidden.

Fact.

My car. No one has ever passed me yet, therefore that makes it the fastest street car.

I'm glad you found someone willing to try and justify spending their money on a car that isn't good at anything. I'm sure it made for a good jump in comment numbers. The plain fact is that there are, and always have been, cars that are cheaper, less harmful to the environment, and better in almost every way to a Prius

get a 70's/early 80's european car and it will blow up in your face immediately. Literally. I suggest an '87 Buick Regal Turbo. Great styling, reliable, cheap to fix, decent on gas, and you'll easily find one for $7000.

Especially in the older cars, in my cutlass you aren't going from 4th to 2nd without a fight if you aren't double clutching.

Love the truck, looks identical to my first truck except it had a visor and cab lights. So many memories...

I know I'll never forget what I learned in that little booklet.

I second this. And Mustangs, but they always will and always have been.

Don't think its working.

Pretty sure these all came with V8's and 12 bolts, so I don't know if he "turned a gentleman's cruiser" into anything... Still amazing, I just sold my 1970 Monte Carlo and it was one of the best cars I've ever owned. If I ever figure out how to add pictures here I'll show you all for that picture rule you guys have.

I completely agree dogs have an opinion on what type of car they enjoy. Our dog, Diesel, can't stand to be in either of our Oldsmobiles, the Buick or our Ford Ranger, but when we take the 7.3L diesel F-350 he can't wait to jump in the front seat, so that's what we named him.
