I think that is just Carol as a character.  It’s nice that there is at least one Marvel character who isn’t just trying to copy RDJ

she’s also not bad in the movie she won an academy award for.

She was pretty good in Scott Pilgrim, too.  Glad to hear she’s coming back for the animated version.

I thought Annette Benning was Mar-Vell but it’s just most of her backstory was all left implicit. I’m not that familiar with the Kree space stuff though so maybe that doesn’t really align. 

My mom has no clue what’s going on in any of these movies but she likes to go see them for the action and funny bits.  Extensive knowledge of backstory is in no way necessary to enjoy them.

Zero complaints here. The original Captain Marvel was just sorta OK, but WandaVision and Ms. Marvel are among the better Disney+ shows, and I love the gimmick of their powers being inextricably linked and causing all sorts of mayhem.

You can already tell Iman Vellani is going to steal the show. I’m also looking forward to the (flock?) of flerkens.

Thank goodness rich people have access to top notch health care.

The term “ICU” and Renner’s Marvel connection made me imagine the Incredibles Cinematic Universe, which I would like to see happen now please.

Raising Arizona is Nic pretty restrained as a goofball character, and I believe it’s one of his best movies.

Yeah, when I saw the trailer for Renfield awhile back I was so looking forward to the part where Cage comes out as the Count! My god, can’t wait for this!
