Better than the first.

Solid, but I put more of it on William Sadler.  Without his Death, the movie would really suffer.

Bogus Journey deserves better than this.  It’s a solid sequel.

Arthur “To Shreds” Jackson?

Thanks for agreeing that the “gay agenda” is to simply be treated as ordinary human beings worthy of the same respect as straight people.

I would say more than foreshadowed but maybe I’m just better at subtext than our friend here. On a sidenote, there were lots of audible "aww!"s of support in the theatre when it was made clear, which was a sweet moment.

The character being gay was foreshadowed in the first film, so it’s not a retcon. He’s a supporting character & his orientation isn’t highlighted in the marketing, so it’s not like this was a prime factor in SHAZAM 2's underwhelming box office.

I don’t believe you’re actually LOLing

Was anyone really saying “gee, I want to go see the new Shazam movie, but I’m not sure where it fits into the bigger picture of the DC Cinematic Universe”?

Latter day AV Club writer has gall to complain about syntax.

When did the fake shows from 30 Rock become real?!?.

I’ve rarely seen someone’s personal politics or even reviews affect the box office. Bad movies with shitty people sometimes make a lot of money. Great movies with awesome people flop.

The other alternative is we could make none of these shows.

That's obviously the most reasonable takeaway from this. People aren't ever shit heads in theaters.

I was amazed by the first movie’s side plot about Billy’s birth mother. Both that it was a dark but realistic place, and that they handled it so sensitively. It was an odd fit with the tone of the movie but paid off for me.

“Children of the Sun” by Billy Thorpe!

Single shittiest SNL musical guest of the past 5 years, and that’s without even taking anything but the songs into account (someone tried to accuse me of saying he sucked based purely on his offstage behavior, but no, I was talking strictly about the songs I heard, though the other stuff sure didn’t count in his

Sounds like the n-word was pretty good for his career.

Can I get a slideshow of people’s comments complaining about slideshows?
