Isn’t the only answer to the “what should Zion do?” question “whatever the fuck Zion wants to do”? I get the wisdom in sitting out (and there’s no wisdom playing on a hobbled leg) but if he’s fully back and wants to try and win a championship with a bunch of friends before he becomes a millionaire, that sounds kinda

They will get 0% of the zero top flight free agents they already weren’t getting. How will they recover?

I think Deadspin is working on this with their 50 Shades of Gruden series.

If you were to diagram out the most quintessentially Barcelona goal imaginable, you could do a lot worse than this tie-killing, overly intricate, senselessly gorgeous combination between about half the Barça team that saw Lionel Messi teed up to blast the ball into the net from point-blank range.

... I’m pretty sure 31% is a lot closer to 1/3 than 1/4.

In that situation, I’m going to shoot it. I’m Joel. I’m Joel Embiid. I don’t get disrespected. I do the disrespecting

The Home Office probably shouldn’t have created a system requiring that then.

It’s Apple’s fault the home office couldn’t create a website that accepts scanned documents?

This may be a stupid question but why would they not want this kind of calling if the predictions/analysis ends up correct?

I think it was that throw to Gronk down the sideline where he noted, “If the safety steps up, he’s going to Gronk one-on-one.” I immediately was staring at that safety, saw him step up, and I was like, “Here it comes.”

I.....don’t buy this? The punts in the Bears game were not on 4th-and-1. And when you watch the video, Cox is triple-teamed from the get-go. I don’t quite buy that they planned it because Cox was going to be lazy.

It is even more annoying because if you actually watch the clip, Cox is tripled team the second the ball was snapped.

There’s no doubt that Apple cares more about my money than my privacy. They’re still light years better about protecting my privacy than companies whose entire business model is packaging and selling my data.

Never demean a rational choice like this. It’s effectively the only means of watching many, many back-catalog films at this point and also the most cost-effective means of watching new releases, assuming you watch more than a couple a month.

I am one of last sad saps who also subscribes to DVD

I hated this so much I recoiled in the theater and looked around to see if anyone else was throwing up.

uggggggg to that whole thing. It granted has been a long time but i am 90% sure i said something to the effect of “a joystick, oh fuck right off” in the theatre when that came on screen, and i am someone who detests people talking in movies.

No, and why do you need it? You’re an adult. You know why. They’re simply using all the the techological tools they have now. Seeing this as a question to be answered is like those people who kept demanding an explanation as to why movie Klingons looked different when Rodenberry flat out told them it was simply because

While it plays with fire by trying to tie itself up in the lives of original Trek figures like Captain Pike and Spock, as long as it can find a good story to tell in that space, it doesn’t matter than the bridge of the Discovery looks a lot less like a ‘60s studio set than what we know a Constitution-Class Starship’s

Eh, it probably is. They probably wanted to tell new stories, but still use old characters, like Sarek and Pike, thus why they set it in the past.
