I would argue 1 isn’t a real pro when you are working 50-65 hours a week. 

$13/hour is not worth it, he’s working 6 days a week and 50-65 hours each week.

That’s what I am wondering, who is the audience and what locations are they going to establish these in? It almost seems like reliance on 3rd shift would be a bad one since they may not be a willing/able to spend on those drinks.

The basic ones, sure, they already have smoothie bots and coffee bots. But the part where the recs/prep require swirling syrups, visual requirements for the appearance, etc.

The good news, at least for this one, is that it’s all spirits and mixers which are used in other drinks. So, for example, I can make this one with what I have on hand and just walk into the backyard for the grapefruit. 

Where is the blood or orphans? Facebook moms and boomers told me she drinks that. 

Before the pandemic, they had decently late hours at the local starbucks locations (10pm, not crazy late but longer than many places) but I am not sure a 24/7 one is useful. Is someone seeking coffee at 2 AM going to be a likely customer? Are they going to be in a place where they can/will be waiting for the coffee? 

I wonder how this would change things like secret menus and such where there is a heavy manual process for many of them. If people just drank drip, espresso, and simple steamed milk drinks it could work. But then it would shut out a lot of the things they made as their tent poles.

I think that literally is the only one that makes sense. 

It is, I think it was just that at the time people were only using “Steampunk” in popular media. But yeah, if I recall one of the creators for BioShock was also involved in System Shock.

It is amusing that the industry in the US is often considered an old boys club with the titans being middle-aged and old white men and there have been multiple allegations, successful lawsuits, ect. showing this and now they are claiming to be victims.
