That happened, in a capacity, if I recall when a ship’s sewage failed people were doing that/in plastic bags and due to the lack of sanitation it pushed an outbreak.

This is also before counting that people will frequently fly to the ports right? So, not only would you be contributing to those emissions from the ship but you still have the emissions from the air travel.

Aren’t most leased cars white/black? That might be part of the deal.

DMCA is a motherfucker and has multiple countries aligned. When money is involved, it’s amazing how law enforcement is more than happy to jump in.

You don’t need to, I mean you can, but the expectation is (as we have seen) either someone will be boastful or create some bad blood on the dev team and start sharing info.

Don’t expect much, Disney puts out videos like these frequently but they rarely translate into something reaching consumers. This may have been a concept they developed for the Galactic Starcruiser, specifically during the Kylo/Rey battle when he force pulls her across a catwalk.

True, but they will eventually figure out who was behind it (the upload to the host), and they will destroy that person/get them to reveal more. They aren’t bound by the same procedures, they also can lean on the governments if they want someone else to foot the bill wrecking lives.

In some cases it’s been Hispanic kids, but unrelated to the owners because the workers are undocumented and easy to abuse.

Would that do anything though? The second it gets out there for download they are going to go after the hosts. Likewise, it’s less painful to get a C&D for announcing vs getting sued because you did release it.

Oh yeah, and sometimes stores choose not to do them at all registers too because of theft and risk.

If the stations weren’t unmanned, they might be able to do it. If they tried that now there would be skimmers installed almost instantly.

That part is probably never going to happen, possibly even for gas stations. Having card readers means you need staff who need to be paid. If people wouldn’t keep tampering with devices to install skimmers and such, they probably could do it.

I should confirm, doing the hack nets you the exact same product as the higher priced version? If it is a smaller version I wouldn’t count it the same.

This seems like a solution (AI age verification) where it doesn’t matter how good/bad it is, it will be unlikely to reach customers.

You can use cheap, a lot of places (unless you see them busting out the DOP approved bottle) will take cheap balsamic and boil it down, possibly adding sugar. Since it’s going on something so cold, you’re going to not be able to have as much flavor coming off it.

I sometimes wonder how many of these exploits are intentionally left in/added in then leaked through social media and fixed shortly afterwards to drive people to use the app for that cheap item. Many won’t for a free or exclusive menu item but this could drive people in.

One stop shopping, get your drinking and recovery done at the same place.

This is one of those arguments I wonder, while people say various fast food products are overpriced (not counting limited time items), are they that grossly overpriced? Especially if it keeps to the standard that mains are about break even, sides and drinks are the main sources of profit, it may imply they are just

It is but it’s usually a pretty low key thing since it’s your local chamber of commerce or other group. In some areas like LA or OC you have the major news publications running them. You can try searching your city/county to see if there is a restaurant week.

It also can be crazy busy at places so the service suffers.
