Probably, I suspect the bigger problem with the entire exercise is that whomever thought the campaign up was only focused on impressions and social media reaction but didn’t realistically calculate the conversions.

I don’t know, that nihilistic ending where it can be summed up as “Your choices are meaningless in the grand scheme” may not be what players are looking for.

I think that one is technically a loophole and they are trying to close it by requiring your card to buy there too.

Since you brought up the catering aspect, I could see offices buying a few of these then having weekly lunches from the catering menu.

This is where you take your mistress, somewhere no one will know you and has a high enough turnover to not have someone ask where your spouse is... or so I’ve heard.

I think the timing actually was pretty good, Nov/Dec is when you see all these random gadgets pushed which usually are crap and also overpriced (Presto is the patron saint of these). It is one of those “Oh X loves outdoor stuff” or “We can use this in the summer!” things. The only problems I can see were the price and

Oh it’s a solid fuel pit? I thought it was one which used gas. That seems like a weird choice. Looking at the site it also is weird since it isn’t really collapsible which means that aside from it being bulky you have to wait for the fuel to extinguish and the whole thing to cool off. Let alone, I suspect a lot of

Are you able to estimate when placing an online order? There is a shop I sometimes go to which is a little far away, but I don’t want to spend an hour just getting there, waiting for the order and driving back so I try to time it/when I leave so it’s about ready when I get there.

You got an Ooni? I do and they are great and basically let you do the various cooking styles but yeah it’s not a magic that is geolocked, even the arguments that the water is critical are mostly bullshit.

Water has been a red herring for decades now. It’s usually the process and flours. I rest my dough for 72 hours and get chewy crusts with crisp exteriors.

I remember seeing a video on this last year and it was hosted by (I think) an eco blogger proclaiming how it was not harmful to the planet and how interesting the whole thing was. I wonder how much she got paid to say that?

Can’t you still shop there without a membership (at least for liquor and medications)? You don’t get the same prices the members do and they make it a pain in the ass to discourage it, but is still there.

Considering how they keep making the capacities larger I would think the below waterline cabin issue would be resolved by the need for more crew. Do they still also have interior rooms? I saw that some ships were trying to make those better with fake windows while some leaned in on the sensory deprivation chamber

My Lexus was super picky with the bubble, if I wore the wrong pants the fob would eventually slide down (long pockets) and the car would throw the “Key not detected” error, not a danger but made me swap batteries out on my fobs a few times before I realized it was my pants not the key.

lol, that makes it even more comical if you don’t need to put the key anywhere. Unless the bubble was so tight that a woman’s purse on the passenger seat isn’t enough to trigger it. Which now makes me ponder, what is the experience like for women without pockets and keyless cars?

Didn’t you have to insert the key into a slot to make the car start too? Friend of mine had an MBZ a million years ago (not that level) and I remember it had the weird key.

Yeah, anime girl wrap.

That is a choice and seems like it would be worse over time. For my stainless I use Signature Polish and it does better than any other brand I’ve used for appliance. YMMV when it’s used on a car though. https://signaturepolish.com/

Is the point of all this effort so they can use the existing ports without needing a deeper one created? I know that has been a topic for cargo ships as well, some ports need to be dug further out to get the super-sized ones.

From the way it sounds, they feel they get more value for their money. Whenever people come back I only hear them rave at how much food (note, they don’t say it’s good) they had.
