E3 is already very similar to PAX. I think the one thing that should be buffed to get closer are panel discussions which I think are more commonplace at PAX events. Also, spaces for people too hook up gear to get impromptu fighting game tourneys or whatnot might be good.

That’s completely wrong. Stuff like this happened just as often, if not more, in the 80s & 90s. The difference is that victims didn’t have a means to tell their story without being immediately silenced back then.

I do wish he’d stayed a couple years more and kept Nomura on the leash... Maybe Kingdom Hearts II and later wouldn’t have gone off the deep end in deep, incomprehensible lore.

Maybe I’m just getting old and soft, but my mind went to all the devs and team members who actually probably worked very hard on this game and were likely to some degree mismanaged. Hopefully they work on enough not to have this kind of thing affect them too much, but I’m sure it can’t be great for morale.
