It’s worth noting that at least in the case of Lightseekers that it is playable only in portable mode. No controller option. Not certain about the others mentioned though.

I feel like Activision missed an opportunity with the Skylanders. The games were good and each had unique aspects, but with that stable of characters it seems like they could have branched off into many different genre of games. Full releases, smaller download only titles, puzzle games, rpgs, tactics, all still using

(So far) I’ve only made two accidental digital purchases. The first was a set of Street Fighter PSN avatars. I wasn’t even trying to select them so I started spamming the back button, but actually somehow spammed the proceed button. God only knows.

I already know how Sony will screw this up. “PSN name changes are a benefit for PS plus customers only. If your PS plus subscription lapses, your name will revert back to the default.”

My PSN id is based off of my old AOL email address. I swear I never picked it as a screen name (anywhere other than aol). I must have made a log in with Sony sometime during the PSX days and I can only assume the ID was auto assigned. By the time of the PS3, it was too late.

Metroid Other M is perhaps the most infamous example of an otherwise interesting game hamstrung by weird control requirements.

That’s how older people used to pronounce it back in the NES days anyway.

I remember that explicitly. His bottom half was pinned between the Subway car and the platform and had gotten twisted up like a plastic bag. Removing the train would release all of that pressure and he would be gone before anyone could to anything. I believe that situation was later fictionalized on an episode of

Everyone’s having fun dunking on this guy, but plagiarism, idea theft, joke stealing, etc.; are major issues of the internet age that we are no closer to solving. These things are so rampant that I would almost go as far as saying that they are baked into YouTube culture. Matthew Santoro, react videos,

It’s awesome seeing this post, it made my morning! Welcome back. I hope you can occasional ignore any dietary restrictions. #Snacktaku (even if you have to spit it out after tasting!)

I haven’t had this kind of end game switch be a game breaker for me yet, but I’ve always found it to be a confounding game design decision. “Let’s take everything you’ve spent the entire game learning and earning and let’s just throw that right out. Here’s some new item you’ve never seen before, or a new game play styl

What can be said?

We are in charge of the gaming language. Can we start trying to use modifiers with the verb ‘streaming’. Streaming can go in both directions and I keep misinterpreting the intent of the articles I read. This is for down-streaming. Or does anyone have an alternate verb set to use?

Counterpoint:

I can’t prove it, but I fairly sure that in the US the next Happy Meal will be Super Mario themed.  Keep an eye out.

Really gets your noodle goin’.”
