It's not a 'step backwards' or a step forwards. IT'S A DIFFERENT FUCKING GAME!

Actually you won't currently be able to play Rock Band 3 songs on Blitz. These songs only reside on the game disc and haven't been offered as an export to hard drive option. Any other exported songs (RB1, RB2, Lego RB,) should be fine as long as there isn't a protracted licensing hassle. RHCP, I'm looking at you.

In the late 90's a now defunct DVD authoring company ported the first Consulting Detective to DVD-Video format. Not DVD-ROM, mind you, but DVD video, i.e. completely playable on a DVD player. If you are used to heavy video compression and artifacts of say the Sega CD version, this DVD is a treat to look at.

Me too. It was a total waste of time, but I couldn't help myself, I had to. Platinum trophy! High score!

Can we rename this "Kotaku’s Top 5 List of Top 'X' Lists" or something? When only two of the lists are Top 10's, it sends my OCD into a rage.

I am falling for Modnation Racers right now, but I understand the overall 'meh' from some. The customization is great, but few pieces of it really pop. Gaming community: "We hate overpriced DLC! We hate on disc DLC! Boo!"

I have been moderately excited for the Vita for a bit now but, yeah. For some reason playing it was pretty underwhelming. Load times on the demos was a pretty big put off too.

All excellent ideas. Keep your eyes open, there may be a THQ presidential seat opening up soon with your name all over it.

"non-traditional game retailers." This means secondary or close out sellers like Tuesday Morning, Big Lots, Family dollar, etc.

"If I had any idea how arcades would disappear someday, I would have played it twice as much."

Don't taint the forum with your assumptions, you bum.

Nothing else could make me this happy so I might just take the rest of the decade off. See you all in the 2020's!

*joy*!

It would be great if digital distribution offered all old games for any system for a certain price. But there are lots of games that would already be gone if fans didn't take matters into their own hands and rip the original code.

I do and I think it's funny when Jessie ends the show(s) with, "I bet you've never seen this in 3D!" and they show stuff from regular life, like stuff that I see in the real world, with my human binocular vision, in 3D, every day!

In the tiny sidebar thumbnail image for this article, I thought that it was Jim Gaffigan.

It must be 'piss off the community' day at Kotaku!
