I wish I knew/thought of this when I accompanied an elderly relative to a Dementia Clinic for diagnosis. I was taken aback when the Doctor read through a 16 page report during the consultation. Afterwards, I barely remembered 3 or 4 things from the appointment. Since then I make a point of taking notes, but my note

I'm certainly not clueless when it comes to the basic understanding of computers and devices, but this looks great. I've an android phone and I'm fed up with having to see all the unnecessary stuff that comes bundled with it (and yes, I've cleaned up as much as I can). This looks great, simple and clean which really

I agree with you. I like the idea and the convenience but, as yet, still not convinced. As for backing up, I'm a bit of lazy toad in that area, and yes I've paid a price. For me I'm still with external hd, when I remember to backup.

I see it's the same shitty photos, infront of a white background with flash.

Nice article and it makes my day when I smile at someone and they reciprocate, and it costs nothing.

This is rather timely. I need to adjust some photos of paintings I took for a website, so thank you.

I've heard of Net Tuts+ (I think), sounds familiar anyway. Probably came across the name while trawling the net. Thanks for the suggestion by the way, I'll check it out.

Never head of CodeSchool, I'll check it out, though free is rather nice.

Watched Colbert Report a few weeks back, he had Zach Sims on talking about his website CodeAcademy that offers, for free, the opportunity to learn to code. I've signed up, thought knowing a little is better than knowing nothing at all. And it looks fun.

Ahh, thanks for letting me know :o)

Just tried to do this and failed, any chance you could tell me how you did it. Not keen on the greyed out areas.

Watched it, so funny.

I think I may've heard of the baking stone but never the ice cube trick. I'll certainly give them a go. Thank you.

I'm on a major bread making journey. Though they rise and cook nicely I'm still not happy with the final product. I've failed to achieve the crusty crust and failed to achieve a nice round, perky loaf. But, I love baking bread, it's so easy (ish) and satisfying.

Good points, thank you.

I've decided to go Linux (Mintppc) on my obsolete 2005 MacMini. I'm turned off by Apple products, aside from the cost, by how quick they become redundant.

My experience with BA (except once when they bumped me, eons ago) has been appalling and I avoid at all costs. Virgin is marginally better, but the attitude of the stewards has deteriorated as the airline has grown, also they're not so cheap these days. Favourite was Emirates, not only did I have an exit row seat (but
