Forgettable? Gladiator, Interstellar, TDK, Man of Steel say otherwise. You definitely hear the latter two reused a lot online.
This and with the stuff that went on during Batwoman, not to mention the history of unsafe sets and conditions (lack of sleep too causing road accidents), they absolutely should strike until this bs exploitative is changed.
Tucker Carlson would like a word.
Yorick was pretty insufferable throughout the show. His sister also wasn’t great either, so I’m guessing the ratings weren’t helped by those portrayals.
It’s long been known actors in the industry will use steroids or HGH to help hit those goals as quick as possible because the studios will just replace you, especially if you’re not star. Manu Bennett (from Spartacus and Arrow) was talking about it in an interview a while back.
Yeah, when you’re palling around with Joe Rogan and Elon Musk, you’ve probably lost a bit of perspective.
Dave Chapelle seems like he’s just doing an Archie Bunker bit. He sounds like a cranky old bigot who’s making bad, tired jokes. But this is in 2021, not 1970.
Partly because they’re being told they can’t joke about it, so they’re reacting like fucking babies about it. Seems like a pattern when you tell dudes not to do something.
I watched the special and I feel like he has a grudge to bear with the LBGTQ community because Kevin Hart got the Oscar’s taken away from him. It was a throw away line, but the way he talked about it showed he took it personally because Kevin is his friend. And now that he’s been accused of being transphobic, he’s…
I guess you consistently ignore history if you don’t understand how bigotry is normalized, and then weaponized, against those groups. Must be nice.
It’s almost always dudes, usually white, who love, and are privileged to say, “LIGHTEN UP GUYS”. They are an absolutely exhausting group to get to self-reflect on any topic that doesn’t affect them.
Or just like how so much so-called “dark/morbid humor“ I see online is just a guise for bigotry, racism, sexism, etc. Like look at a dictionary ffs (not that that would help).
He’s been addressing it head-on and being honest about it for multiple specials now. There comes a point where it’s no longer a joke, it’s no longer a clarification....
I’m guessing the author wasn’t very old in the 90's.
I read the comic a while ago, but don’t remember Yorick being this mediocre, or hateful. My god is he making it hard it watch the show.
Tuturu!
I’m enjoying the fact that Evil Lyn is just sort of a Cersei Lannister who knows magic.
I rewatched all the NuWho recently, and maybe Donna is the best. Martha is in the running along with Amy. Rose, is kinda awful once I rewatched it. And Clara is very middling after a great start. Bill was also good.
