I think you nailed the issue. Cho doesn’t seem capable of embodying Spike, though which actor can? So, that makes it a very difficult task. Everybody seems to clamor for Keanu Reeves, who I also don’t think would be a good fit either, considering his past criticisms as an actor.

I don’t know why so many people think Cho is a good choice for Spike. Have they not seen the series? Cho’s demeanor doesn’t match either the sub or the dub actors! I feel like people are just blinded by their own fanboy/girl biases for Cho.
