Between me getting the white Vita bundle and finally getting FF7, SoundShapes, Lumines, this Sony fighting game, Persona 4, and maybe going back to some missed PSP games, there is a shit ton to play. I'm super excited for my white Vita bundle. Pre-ordering today.

I have to agree. Between me finally getting FF7, SoundShapes, Lumines, this Sony fighting game, Persona 4, and maybe going back to some missed PSP games, there is a shit ton to play. I'm super excited for my white Vita bundle. Pre-ordering today.

The Paper Mario franchise is one of my favorites, and I always kinda loved that even high level bosses would top out with like, 50 HP. Seriously. Once I got that game under my control, I would be doing obscene amounts of damage with all the buffs and stuff. It was a blast.

I'm kinda thrilled to see tennis actually mean something to the Olympics, but like you said, it still doesn't mean that much for the professional tour.

I find it interesting that South Africa has become a formidable nation for swimming. When did that happen? Either way, pretty cool

Totally a ripoff of Homefront.

I just don't understand why people care more than "I guess this is happening." There are yaoi conventions all across the country. I guess they could be involved in a larger anime convention, but they are not. I see some similarities here.

PAX, E3, GDC, WonderCon. All fine places. Now give me one honest to God reason why Gaymercon doesn't deserve to exist.

Dude, I never once told you that you are a homophobe. I told you that the reason why myself and many gay people try to declare they are gay as opposed to passing as straight is because sometimes you need to make that declaration.

I'm not telling people we are special snowflakes. I'm telling people I'm tired of straight people getting butthurt because some gay kids want to have a fucking convention where a uniting factor is they are gay. What's the big problem with this? Seriously? "I don't see the point of this," people say. Why should they

Yeah, but they are a part of our culture. We shouldn't hate on them. Dislike them for personal reasons, sure, but hate is a big deal.

Yeah, in hindsight I could have toned it down, but I don't think I would have changed a thing. I dont want to be defensive. I want to be angry. There needs to be anger. There are too many people here who have a problem with this convention, and I want to fight that.

You sound like a cool dude to hang out with

Thanks for jumping in here Stephen. I appreciate you lending some of your distinction here.

Yes, but his example fit only two tropes of gay identity, and I want to defend those that are a hairdresser, wear skinny jeans, and talk with a lisp. It was pretty implicit that those people are somehow less worthwhile than the people who "pass" better, to use his example.

Bro, I'll be honest, part of me agrees with you with your desire to be proud of your culture and heritage. That's fine, and I understand your frustration for not being able to celebrate that. As a white male, I'm frustrated by that myself.

K bro, I'm done with you. You have an attitude about how gay people should be. Good for you man. Clearly, you are the standard bearer for what gays and lesbians are.

Because I am not straight. Because my world view is not the same as yours. Because, by your logic, I should conform to your standards and norms, and no offense, but I would never want to be like you.

Really? Really really? As a straight guy, you can speak volumes on how gay people should be. Please enlighten me on the standards and norms of gay culture and how we should be, ok?

Your avatar is disgusting and only provides a foundation for ignoring you even more.
