Yeah, I think you’re probably right.

Yeah, it’s kind of shocking. The cheapish 2+2 convertible used to be a fairly robust segment at one time, and it basically doesn’t exist anymore.

Does this mean the only semi-affordable, non-luxury 2+2 convertibles on the market will be the Camaro and Mustang? I’m drawing a blank thinking of anything else.

The dumping of the platform is absolutely WILD. I genuinely thought it was some sort of Onion-esque satire when I first read it. Just straight up endorsing one man rule.

Not very reliable, not very nice, and not very affordable. Another fine Nissan example of ‘literally everything else on the market is better.’

The 5.6's are pieces of shit too. Almost every week we have a 5.6 equipped vehicle in the shop for a full on engine swap.

Why are they even having that old dinosaur Paul Tracy on as a commentator anyways? Guy is such a gross prick and hasn’t been relevant for like a decade or more now. It’s not like he offers any bright insights to the commentary either, just an absolute dud.

Where I live the market has already started to shift. Previously we were overpaying for used cars in a big way because we were so short on inventory, and maybe it is just an anomaly, but it feels like the pent up demand from quarantine is already wearing off. We went from understocked on used to overstocked quite

There’s gonna be so many insanely destructive leaving-a-parking-lot crashes of these things where I live. 700+ horsepower sent through the rear wheels with no weight over the rear axle meets shitty roads, snow, and bros. Can’t wait.

Saw one of these on my local classified site the other day and felt a disturbing urge to buy it. Thankfully the seller wanted way too much, and I was saved from my own stupidity for yet another day.

They are a nice looking car, and they drove pretty good too if I remember correctly. But the awful reliability makes them a perpetual CP for me.

Maybe Mazda, in like 10 years when they’re finally legislated to make the Miata a BEV?

I’m honestly not sure Infiniti will last long enough to compete with DS anyways. The forthcoming product includes a coupe version of an already poorly selling CUV, a long overdue redesign of the 7-passenger QX60 that will again be a rebadge of the Pathfinder (if this thing flops like the QX50 I think they’re toast),

I love this idea!

I think it also helps that even though the platforms and models are old as hell, FCA is fairly good about updating their cars to stay relevant. Over their production runs basically all of them have received totally new (and much improved) interiors, new tech, new option packages, new engines, etc. Compare that to say,

Damn that is cheap. I wish we could get used PHEV’s that cheap where I live. They don’t sell a lot here so all the used ones always list for crazy high prices.

That SUV silhouette looks a lot like a 4 door modern FJ, I kinda like it.

A Fusion Hybrid that cheap seems like a really great deal for someone just looking for transportation.

A hybrid sounds kind of perfect for the Bronco. Still plenty of offroad prowess, but would definitely help to negate the likely awful fuel economy it will get.

I get that, but you’ll make up the difference in resale value alone in the future.
