I’m surprised they don’t add pickup dragging and getting tied to a rock to be pecked by crows to the options.
Unfortunately...as racist as the post was he can’t have his employment terminated for it because it is protected free speech. I agree that the punishment should be more severe. Maybe permanent desk detail since he’s obviously a racist but unfortunately that’s not something you can be fired for.
I think when he says “Atlanta terrorist attack” he means Atlanta has a lot of black people, which is basically the same thing as terrorism to this administration.
Let’s be real, killing someone is not going to get someone fired. My point is that claiming that this 24-day suspension without pay (while they probably raised money for this motherfucker at the local cop watering hole) is the maximum punishment they could give is a lie.
Of course, they didn’t. That’s why they came up with this bullshit about how it was the maximum punishment. We all know that’s a damn lie.
Racists gotta race.
It is not easy to fire a police officer. They pretty much have to kill someone and even that is not always a valid reason for termination.
They didn’t want to give him that. They laughed about what he said (with him) & said, “Remember how this looks, son. Don’t put that where niggers will SEE it”. They know he’ll get his money back by stealing cash from drivers he pulls over, & houses he goes into, just like they do down here.
I wish they’d stop lying and claiming that this is the most punishment they can hand out when everyone knows it’s not true.
There’s no need for anyone to put themselves in the line of fire this idiot literally put himself in the line of fire.
But, these are the people we have to “understand” and court because of “economic anxiety” according to a growing number of voices in the party.
“Racists never learn, do they?”
White folks do two things 1) Get money, dont spend it and 2)Dont fire, just cold shoulder them.
So 24 days without pay is the maximum punishment? What you lot never fire anyone?
The really scary part is wondering how many people just hold this stuff in until they’re in their “safe” space of like-minded fools.
Not at all. Back when I was a reporter, a colleague was a media witness to a gas chamber execution and he said it was horrific, very disturbing.
It is a style thing. Most J-schools will teach you AP style and most news organizations follow AP style. AP has a special set of abbreviations used for states that are not the same as postal abbreviations and a set of rules to follow when using said abbreviations.
The thought is that crimes committed with no forethought are generally not death penalty cases without there being extreme circumstances at play.
It’s sad that over half the country seems to be 8th grade trolls, rather than serious policy makers. “They want clean air? Let’s make rolling coal legal!”
