I can understand not being backwards compatible for physical media, and honestly I am not that bothered overall as I will continue to have older systems out. However, is there a legitimate reason why digital content isn't backwards compatible?

Yup yup. I know a lot of people in the gay community (in nyc at least) who don't use condoms. It is insane to me. Also a lot of videos online have comments like "this would have been hotter without condoms"
