I don’t like the narrative that the wives of the mob are actually in more control because ultimately they are not. It’s very reminiscent of “the husband is the head of the household but the wife is the neck” which is kinda a dangerous belief but, I do love the lead and find the show charming.

Midge sucks as a person, but god damn, she is captivating to watch strut around, on stage and off. She’s charismatic to a fault, and I enjoy when the show has her reckon with people becoming disenchanted with her shit. I’m excited for the new season. I wonder if Miriam will remember she has kids.

Because they all came up in the business during the 50s, 60s and 70s.

“I would like to say now, ‘Ma’am, I’m a Catholic slut!!!”

Because coming up in the 70s in a male dominated field selected for cutthroat people who were simultaneously egotistical and desperate to prove themselves?

Why does it seem like all the most famous NEWSWOMEN of the 80s and 90s are absolutely horrendous people?

I am pretty sure this is why, Melania goes to Mar-A-Largo on the weekends just so she doesn’t have to do any of those nasty things in the oval office with Trump.

“No one had ever seen the Oval Office!” the current president claimed during a recent meeting with business executives,

Clinton likely accomplished more work for the country while receiving oral sex than Trump has done his entire presidency. Clinton and Obama had the attention span and maturity to read security briefings, even though they were long and wordy and didn’t have pretty pictures.

I have no issue with what consenting adults do, but not when the boss is having a sexual affair with an employee. How many women have been in that position, some consenting, but others feeling coerced? Consent isn’t the issue here - it’s abuse of power. Just like if some sleazy manager told his subordinate, “I know

Couldn’t he just not say anything at this point? Why is commenting at all about #MeToo, and why is anyone asking for his opinion? There are so many other people out there will relevant and insightful things to say about it. Let’s encourage Mr. Clinton to just put his thoughts in a private journal or something.

I have to say that what disturbed me was his constant invocation of the phrase “3/4th of the american people agreed with me [that I should not have been impeached]” or something like that. The idea that just because quite a few people agree with you that it makes it ok is disturbing, especially in the Age of Trump.

yes. yes he is

Bill Clinton is Rick James and this country is Eddie Murphy’s couch. He never realizes how disrespectful he’s being so maybe a few punches in the kneecaps might teach this dude.

Clinton responded: “No, I do not—I have never talked to her. But I did say publicly on more than one occasion that I was sorry. That’s very different. The apology was public.”

Plus I hate how FOX became a thing by harassing and name calling her.

Monica Lewinsky is an A+ twitter follow and frankly a hilarious and great person. If you haven’t watched her TEDTalk (don’t roll your eyes at me!) I highly recommend it.

Exactly. Whenever someone whines at me about the Clinton years, I always respond, ‘So which part of the ‘90s do you miss the most? The peace? Or the prosperity?’

You are nothing if not fair, and that is fair. No hate.

Now playing

Hell yeah, thanks for the Mary Chapin Carpenter mention in the vids. Love her. I think this is my favorite song of hers, here live with some all-star backup singers (Emmylou!!!)
