It’s like this. I don’t get to see a lot of buff women in my SF and fantasy. Mostly casting directors stick to girly-buff and still attractive to men. She wasn’t. Cara Dune was built like a tank and fought like one. It breaks my heart that Carano sucks so badly as a human.

I watched Dune with two people who had never read or seen any of it, one 14 and one 47, and they loved it.

Yep. SVU is definitely the wish fulfillment leg of the franchise.. I remember with the mothership often feeling like, “Okay, we’re halfway through the season, is it time for a token ‘satisfying ending’ episode yet?” They were rare.
