JDM seems to be pulling as many "abuser tells" as he can into the character—body language, delivery of lines, etc. I also often feel a great aversion to Negan for that reason, even though I can admire JDM's work in making the best out of the often crap material he is given.

It wasn't the actress that was annoying; it was the writers changing the character (often within the same episode!) and making her do and say stupid shit to advance the plot.
It's a different experience the second time around, when you are aware of the reveal. It's really a wonderful film.
