Drive+ had a great idea with the paywall material. I've subscribed to it but in the first six viewable content left something to be desired. The only shining stars were your segments and the /Afterdrive talking bits for me. I hope the 2015 preview delivers as much as they promise.

This is an awesome list! I'd add the R8 V10 manual, Koenigsegg (any flavor), and a Wiesmann GT (with the BMW S65 engine).

True, which makes my shopping for E46s easier if there's an SMG selection. It can be enjoyed until it fails or converted. Although for my track car I plan a 5-speed swap, less weight.

I'm looking a car this weekend with SMG, it's been a while since I've driven one. I hope to get it for a song, enjoy the SMG for a bit until it dies then convert to third pedal. There's always a chance for salvation on the E46 ;)

A friend of mine with a DCT E90 is wishing he had waited for a manual. It is fantastic on the track but is bored with it day to day.
