And this needed a separate post....how about the tribute to Gene Wilder singing “Pure Imagination” during the race recap video.

And that time Seb put on the wrong hat at the end...hahaha

It’s an interesting development, when in this interview aroun the German GP he insisted there wasn’t anyone good enough to replace him. Strong front for the media? Did his mind change that much over the break

Can’t help it...

I’m in the area where this car was in Germany. Saw it around a few times and it was on the market hovering between $25-28k for the last two years or so. Never was really on my radar for purchase but it seemed clean whenever I saw it.

This guy has more laps at the ‘Ring and more experience than most. Everyone has a bad day but “track day bro” he ain't.

Anyone else feel like the Ferrari 360 still had more articles written about it than the Skyline did? Or am I just too drunk to remember?

*searches Autotrader and Craigslist for TDI’s so as to collect on the big monies*

WHY WHYWHYWHY could you not wait to post this after I sold my M4 to buy one? The market will inexplicably go up now thanks to the exposure of this wolf in a fine suit. Cannot wait to get one.

Sooooo, what you’re saying is it’s better to own than a Range Rover?

Interesting thought. The only folks I have met who own one (at the Nürburgring) own more than one Porsche. One gentleman placed his order for one TWO YEARS AGO. He has a collection of a few classics and a 997 GT3 Cup, no novice indeed. I doubt they were trying to placate to the new 911 owner with the GT3RS.

Love his “Girls come to room 708 for the party”

I saw an earlier article saying they’d offer a PDK with an upcoming GT4 and was eternally sad. I had hoped a street version would stay stick-only. But a race car in a box solution makes wayyyyyyy more sense, especially if I can get a cheap(er) GT3 Cup car because of it to dominate any and all track days. Unless some

Yeah I had a shred of hope that this would’ve happened. Keep the championship race interesting for one more venue. But alas, I suppose Nico would like to stay employed for next year.

Yeah for a roadster the S52 would be just enough. If you can wait until 2025, the first of the European Z3Ms with the S50B32s will be eligible for import into the US.

Certainly not a wrong turn, I would love a Z4M in my stable....but not before I bought a Z3 M Coupe. Dat clownshoe.

I want it, gladly going to sell my M4 for one of these. Should have waited.

The McLaren F1 had a 6-speed in ‘92. I incorrectly thought the Diablo was released with a 6-speed as well, they only had it in the race version.

Released into a market plagued by a global economic downturn and gasoline price instability, the E31 8-series didn’t exactly light the sales charts on fire. That’s not to say that its debut wasn’t notable for a number of factors. For one thing, the E31 was the first road car to offer a V12 engine mated to a six-speed

Awesome write-up. Enjoy this and be sure to give it some unique garage mates in the growing Tavarish auto collection!
