The dipstick is a small gripe in the overall package, but one I like to flaunt at the track to the E9x guys when I have the E46 :P

Another thought to stir the pot.....but this isn't really as analogue a car as everyone makes it to be. Sure it has hydraulic steering and a regular diff. While it was available as a relatively stripped down car like this one it had a multitude of digital intervention.
This is the perfect combo, I don't see EDC either which is another plus for me. I'd love to turn this into a beast of a track car, giving many a GT3 a run for their money. All while bellowing a sweet uncorked V8 sound.
Nope, SMG-III was featured on the E60/E63 M5 and M6.
These are a definite deal. With incredible examples getting even under the $30k mark this will be the bargain of the next decade when it comes to off the shelf affordable performance. I think the E90M specifically will be lauded in the future as the E39 M5 still is today.
E92s didn't have the the SMG...rather a DCT or double-clutch system which was much faster and so far has been light-years more reliable than the SMG II from the E46s
This was a shame, I wonder if he hadn't had the issue if we'd have seen him in the top 5 instead of Sebastian.
I would love to see another fully backed factory team. A little more than a back-runner and hopefully enough tech plus knowledge to be competitive. Despite all the moves in F1 to be "kinder to the environment" it does has quite a bit of history and this could be a new entry to keep the race series modern and relevant.
Still better than the Lincoln offering....
I can only imagine the after warranty repairs on these cars. Definitely a great candidate for a CARMAX warranty in a few years.
Answer is always 911.
Should've done one of these numbers when you showed them your info...bet a better offer would have followed.
Cigars yes, Lincoln no. Big-body Jaaaaaaaaaag baby.
I recently purchased an older car (early nineties) but the owner wasn't able open the trunk for me. After taking delivery there was a loud banging sound coming from the same area. After a couple days the sounds stopped but now a heinous smell is in the car. Should I be concerned?
I have the biggest plane crush in these. If a genie ever asked me what plane I'd fly this would be one of the tops.
E39 M5. Looks just like a regular 5er and blends in perfectly when in gray.
Vents and intakes don't bother me so much, it's just the REALLLLLLLLLLY brightly chromed grills. Can't do it. And I drive a yellow frikkin' M3.
Fan-damn-tastic. I can't wait to see a tuned one of these vs the F80 M3 with JB4 and race gas. What exciting times we live in.
The V8 production car was an interesting project for Bimmerworld. It just didn't seem to get off the ground like their Turnermotorsport counter parts. Their E90s however are brilliant, first to the field with them and proven race winners. I can't wait to see what they do with the F30.
Indeed, if their M6 was on sales ages ago this one is sure to follow.
