Just as absurd as a virgin birth, walking on water, multiplying fish and loaves of bread, transubstantiation, and rising from the dead in my opinion. Religions are absurd.

I like the ability to check on the bread through the cheese windows to make sure its doing okay.

Actually you’re paying for the specially trained mice that eat through a block of swiss to make those hole.

I would have voted for almost anyone other than Hillary in the primary. She is a Clinton and is very bad at optics; there was a vanishingly small chance that she’d actually become POTUS...the only reason she even had a chance in the general was because the GOP ran Trump.

That’s what really ticks me off. “But he lost, hurdur!” Yeah. Okay, assuming shit wasn’t rigged against him like so many people here believe, he was a practical no-name to most people, a self-identified socialist, an independent, and someone heavily critical of the establishment. Going against Hillary Clinton. One of

Because apparently, they can’t deal with the fact that Clinton, who they think should’ve been the rightful candidate because woman, was actually a fucking shitty candidate and was so damn arrogant about her chances of winning that she didn’t even try to win.

It would have been. I actually know some rural people (I LIVED IT) who switched from Bernie to Trump when he lost the primaries. I’m not comparing the two candidates, but they sure rang some of the same bells among the voters. So those two campaigns at war would have been...messy.

This is a bad take. Trump was the most beatable candidate the GOP could have produced, and the Clinton folks managed to piss away what should have been a slam dunk.

(Bernie. Bernie took Michigan)

Can someone clarify why in this case he was suspended without pay, but the absurd number of cops who SHOOT people get to be suspended with pay? How does that work?

My wonderful husband died suddenly just under a month ago. It makes me angry that horrible people like Trump, who are older, are still alive. 2016 is the shittiest year ever.

Edison Research, which has done all the prior exit polls in our primaries has refused to release the raw data, as it has routinely refused since 2004.

Oh absolutely. I’m just saying everyone is looking shady as shit to me.

But it’s the way it’s pointed out in this article that will get people all riled up and upset and miss the entire point—that the woman was brave enough and fast-thinking enough to write that, and that the driver was aware enough to do something about it. Now it’s just a debate about who the actual hero was. It

I feel like a full blown conspiracy theorist at this point because I don’t believe anyone anymore. :(

When the USA decided all cops and soldiers were heroes, the word ‘hero’ became dead to me.

The UPS driver did the right thing, but this woman is the hero in this story.

The UPS driver did the right thing, but this woman is the hero in this story. I don’t think acknowledging that is wrong or snarky, but as always, everyone is free to disagree with me.

Right? I mean listen, the driver did the right thing. But.. is this a story of just doing the right thing? Not to me it’s not. To me this a story of a brave woman who defied the odds and survived. It’s also a story of how cruel and unusual men can be, even without provocation.

Why am I not surprised?
