Did you watch the 2 school buses drive by in the video?
Did you watch the 2 school buses drive by in the video?
You mean apart from the school bus you see in the video that’s actually out in that weather? That school bus?
I think you are incorrect. Regardless of your speed, if you cannot stop for something legally in front of you, it is your fault. While these guys are dbags for not putting more cones well in advance of the stopping point, if they followed the law they are in the clear. What if over the crest traffic was backed up? The…
Not at all. I’ve been on the Comcast’s guys end. Not for a particular ISP but as a contractor. It’s a shit job and people drive by you going way too fast. A lot of people purposely speed up going by you. It’s annoy at best.
You’re right. The plates are indiana, and the school bus says Wayne Township. So this is Indianapolis.
The school bus says Wayne Township and plates are Indiana. That’s Indianapolis.
just commenting on the school bus thing. School does not stop just because of weather like this. it was not a blizzard and it was not like 10+ inches of snow blanketed everything. Up north only two things will close the school. very heavy snowfall and plow trucks cannot keep the roads clear and negative x weather…
No you are not alone on this. The final accidents was clearly the pickups fault, he was going too damn fast. Same with every car that ditched off the side of the road
You do realize that at 2:17 there’s a school bus, right? There are plenty of parts in the US where this weather is considered “Tues”...
Not sure where you live, in most snowbelt states there sure as hell would be school in that weather
Snow is a bit of an anomaly in Southern Indiana (read south of Indy) but common in Northern and Central Indiana. Accent sounded like Southern IN to me (from there).
What? where does school close for this weather besides the south where they have like $6 for snow removal budget? We WATCH a school bus drive by at one point for crying out loud.
Clearly it was too fast if they aren’t able to stop safely... That’s kinda the definition of “too fast”.
No, your right. Those people were driving like shitheads.
They don’t get to choose where the block the road, they had to work on the lines RIGHT THERE. More cones, sure... doubt that some of those idiot drivers would have fared any better with just a couple more cones out there.
You are not alone. Not at all. If they’re going over that blind hill at 40mph in the snow on “all season” (Read: “Summer”) tires the blame is on no one but themselves. They were going too fast for the conditions, which even places the blame on themselves legally. At least it does here, you are legally required to…
I agree. People were driving way too fast for the conditions at hand, ice and slow plus blind hill, = slow the fuck down, or at least get off the throttle.
At first i was thinking “yea, space them out more and more toward the crest.” But that might have made it worse, yet farther away from the Tech Truck. Imagine your cruising along, going up a hill at speed, you crest the hill and HELLO CONES...the reactions would have been worse until it backed up going down the hill.
I like how you say no school in that weather when there’s a bus in the freeze frame for the start of the damn video.
