Serious question- how come no one complains about college football games being too long, even though they’re approximately 5 hours?
Counterpoint: Nintendo itself doesn’t gain extra income from the increased prices since that is occurring with stores (that already paid Nintendo when they bought stock) and resellers. Also, Nintendo gains animosity from potential buyers due to the minimal supply.
I expect we’ll see that shit-eating grin for a long time.
Step one: take the best shortstop on the team and plant him at third base. Replace him with a glove nailed to a tiki torch. Never stop being passive aggressive to the third baseman.
It’s not doubtful, it’s stupid. It’s an idiotic idea to even entertain. Artificial scarcity does not work the way people obviously think it does. Applying that word to what Nintendo is supposed to be doing is wrong.
Some history: once upon a time, opiates were prescribed when necessary and appropriate. There were always a few “bad apples”, including both prescribers and patients. Then the long duration versions, such as Oxycontin, came out. This was hyped and pushed by the company to the point where the Federal Government also…
it said original art. the content in the game isn’t the punching.
I think the theory goes that once the prescription runs out they are already hooked and will seek alternate means of fueling their addiction. Additionally the fewer prescription pain killers in circulation the less likely they will be to fall into the hands of recreational users. Many people start on pills and go…
Hasn’t the prevailing theory been that its the overprescribing that’s got people hooked, and then, when they can longer access the non-illicit opioids, they move on to heroin, fentanyl, and the like?
Yes, cracking down on prescription opioid abuse has driven abusers towards cheaper, safer alternatives like black tar heroin.
Yeah,
True. I was being foggy-brained. Still, the in-game art is perhaps only one remove from the punch-Yoshi version (which must not be shown in the article).
You might be right. If that’s the case, we don’t have access to the original artwork.
The artificial scarcity idea is a dumb one and I don’t know why anyone believes it.
This is the team that has only been to the playoffs twice in the last 20+ years, right? Seems like they’ve been knocked out much earlier than October lately...
Many would run. But many more of them were waiting eagerly for someone else to fire so they could have an excuse to kill.
The only thing that held the guns back was the Nazis’ “sense of propriety,” meaning that they weren’t going to roll the dice on taking a murder charge. Certainly not without provocation, which might help them argue self defense.
bunch of fat white dudes thinking they’re all little caesars
