She’s saying some good things now, but Harris will do whatever suits her at any moment. She was the biggest voice speaking against the failed proposition K while she was DA in San Francisco, which would have decriminalized sex work. After defeating it, she oversaw the persecution of predominantly minority sex workers

It baffles me that Castro hasn’t been getting more attention. He seems like he really gets it.

That’s the whole point. Valve wants to sell more VR equipment. That’s the entire reason Valve created this game, to sell the high markup equipment.

Hot take: it’s still bad.

Game of the Year. Absolutely.

Did Blizzard provide any hint at a release date?

Nope. I really enjoyed it as well. But we do seem to be in the minority.

The “Recline, or don’t recline” question is the closest thing to a pure example of the Prisoners’ Dilemma that most people will encounter on a regular basis. We’d all be better off if nobody reclined, but the choosing to recline always improves the individual’s situation. This is why you see most seats reclined.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. They want to “modernize” in all the ways that will get them sympathy, positive attention, and easier lives, but in none of the ways that would actually involve personal sacrifice to improve the world.

Obviously the website the original poster is linking to is not a reputable source, but the GMG Union twitter says Barry Petchesky was fired. Is that inaccurate?

We need leaders who actually lead, who will think about what needs to be done and convince people to do it, not just bending to whatever people want in the

The Council was a lot of fun. I’m surprised it didn’t get more buzz.

Just hook it to my veins!

I’m there with you. It’s important to fight, but it sure does feel futile sometimes. The senate and the supreme court are the only two institutions with the power to touch Trump, and it seems pretty clear neither of them ever will.

I didn’t really expect much of this one going in, but five hours in this might be my game of the year.

They know they’re going to look bad. Access to the Chinese marketplace is more important to them than their image in America.

Of the golden age FF games, I feel like FFVI has aged better than any of them. The graphics of VII-IX haven’t aged well, nor has the voice acting of X or the writing of IV and V. Something about VI has a timeless quality. The writing, the art, the gameplay, all of it feels just as enjoyable today as it did in 94.

Please no. There’s a good chance Trump would win.
