It DOES matter. If Biden wins the nomination and the election, he is only going to be a ONE TERM President. He is setting his VP up to run and win the next election.

I actually think it DOES matter. Joe is old, and the VP stands a more than reasonable chance of being POTUS. Plus odds are he’d be a one-term guy anyway. If we can’t have a woman at the top of the ticket, I’m happy to see this pledge.

She learned from the best: Elizabeth Warren.
#NotAllBoomers, thank you very much. I prefer not to die gasping for air like a thing gasping for air*
If they aren’t, I’m moving to her district just to vote for her. I wish she was my Representative.
Yes, she made him promise to do something that he is “allowed” to do per some regulation. It is my guess, he was reluctant to say Yes to her question because of two reasons 1) He is a Trump sycophant and he has to get permission from Trump. 2) Because he is a sycophant, he doesn’t know how and can’t do his job.
God I love Katie Porter. TBH, tho, her whiteboard skills are godlevel.
Ride on, Katie Porter. You’re the future I want to see.
The point is that Hillary Rodham Clinton remains a towering figure in American political history: an intellectually gifted, morally admirable and personally courageous lion of the left — who we totally fucked up.
I was 11 when the Bill Clinton was elected and that’s when my dad started getting into politics and listening to Rush Limbaugh. Ugh. I didn’t think much about the Clinton hatred, especially towards Hillary. My dad even bought a floor mat with her face on it, to put in front of his office. Double ugh. At such a young…
Hillary’s audience is most likely women who are exhausted by their own attempts to satisfy the constant demand for female likeability in the name of self-preservation, while simultaneously railing against those demands. It would have been helpful for the case study of Hillary Clinton’s life and career to at least…
I see no reason to not back Warren just to own the moderates.
She did this to Bloomberg in ONE DAY.
She never should have put herself in the position to be criticized.
Castro. Another woman Abrams/Gillibrand/Pressley/Harris would be historic as fuck. But, I daren’t dream. Also Harris would be a phenomenal AG or Secretary of State rather than VP.
Not over, thank god. I loved Bernie in 2016 but his time is up. He more and more comes across as an old, intractable grandpa shaking his fist at the clouds and writing letters to the editor that begin with, “In my day!”
Hi there very real and legitimate Sanders supporter with an account created an hour ago. Thanks for your contribution
Yeah no, the primary is not over, I don’t need the residents of Iowa and New Hampshire speaking for me.
Why the fuck would a superior candidate who is smarter, younger, hasn’t had a heart attack and has already effected meaningful economic reform for the middle class martyr herself so the inferior candidate can get more votes he wouldn’t even necessarily get because people are complicated like that?
