There have always been young undocumented people who chose to not apply for DACA because they didn’t trust the government with their data. The DACA application process is pretty thorough and requires everything from your home address to a biometric appointment where applicants are fingerprinted.

I worked in a union until a year ago. In my experience, the union’s #1 priority is making sure shitty workers keep their jobs.
