Things like this just add to the argument that what we need to do is break the link between employment and health insurance - that is, that your health insurance should not be tied to your place of employment, and that your employer should not get to have a say in how your health insurance dollars are spent.

I commend you if you’re mindful enough to exert that level of self-control. It’s painful for me to admit I fail more often than not.

Fuuuuck! This situation really tests one’s humanity. So many people have suffered (and will continue to suffer) and so many have died from this illness. A decent person wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
