Just a random thought to throw out there about actors who could replace Harrison Ford as Indy.

I’m asking to know, but wasn’t Dave Chappelle’s last set on this topic about a trans friend of his who defended him online, was then bullied, and then killed herself? I’m not saying there might not have been other harmful material (it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it), but that seemed to be the heart of it from what I

Thank you.

Oh, take your star. :)

That has been my takeaway as well. Like, he’s not an asshole (at least not necessarily), but watching the Fresh Prince reunion it was hard not to think how exhausting it must have been around him.

Oh, don’t forget the sad scene where their growing apart is illustrated by them walking to different BMWs.

Had the same thought. Like, “Oh, the people who watched The Last Dance - our target audience - probably won’t notice this.”

Watching the trailer, the rotoscoping began to almost feel completely unnecessary, until hinting that this might be really good? Always liked Richard Linklater.

I watched Batman Forever about a million times as a ten-year-old kid, and at 36, all I could see in that clip was Jim Carrey wearing onesie pajamas with his junk showing.

I bet you are! ;) (Just kidding)

“Chair Model” has the parking subplot though, no? I might be mistaken, but if that’s the one, it’s what I remember as the last human moment they ever gave Kevin before a room full of adult writers decided it was funnier if he was just a Cookie Monster of a character who barely knows his own name.

I feel the early seasons did a really great job of encapsulating the ‘oh shit’ of how much trouble they were already in from the get-go, and the terror/comedy of keeping that under wraps. It’s weird to remember that the whole thing got rolling with going from zero to having to conceal a self-defense double murder and

People like to shit on “Wonderwall”, but it really is a classic that is also just synonymous with any that’s overplayed. I like when those songs take a ten-year break as a result from that and then come back again. (Remove the words “now” and “because” and goof around with the chord structure, and it’s a whole new

“I take the Sword of Spirits, rub my balls on it, and throw it off a cliff.”

You’re going to weep at Billy And The Clone-osaurus Forever.

You’re not wrong - and I agree that South Park often fell into the ‘both-sidesism’ it is often criticized for - but I always felt that this fell more into the category of how politics can make regular people treat each other, and how being on the right side of something doesn’t preclude a person from acting foolish, ig

Damn, beat me to it.

I caught Bob Saget at Bonnaroo in 2013. I remember it being funny enough, and he did some crowd work with this guy in the audience he kept calling his son. To likely paraphrase and a half, this is one of the bits I remember:

.. showcasing the sort of intelligent, knowledgeable articles on pop culture - with the right mixture of facts, analysis and personal opinion (that never fell into feeling like someone’s personal blog like so many other For Our Considerations and the like) ..

Has Kinja gotten even worse that the replies don’t even show up? What is the business model behind this? Why is this even profitable, to be this bad?
