Bart, That's A Bran Muffin

Every time I hear something like this, it reminds me of a story I read about an elderly man in Japan who lived alone and kept noticing his food going missing. He had a camera installed, and discovered that a young woman had been surreptitiously living in his house and hiding in his cupboards. If that’s not

I was, until I was reminded that it was “Looney Tunes” and not “Looney Toons. Still, though, doesn’t the “tune” in the original cease to be a pun when it’s used on its own? I care about this way too much.

If you’re at all into the suspense of the mystery they’re investigating, then naturally it does get better, but the banter/relationship between Harrelson and McCoughnaghey’s characters is the heart of it, and if that’s not your thing, it may just not be for you.

Wasn’t there an Onion article to the tune of “Area Man Who Likens Self to TV’s House Fired”? (I searched for it, but to no avail.)

*Edit: Hank Azaria, of course. Oops.

I think the good part of the narrative is what’s happening with the rebranding of pro sports teams named after racist mascots. It’s a step in the right direction, and an action of real consequence considering the voluminousness of sports on the whole.

The bad part of the narrative is that anyone who ever rooted for

I wish I could star that more than once.

I’m a Millennial (‘85) and I was confused by this description as well. I’m not someone who remembers it by heart, but I never remembered it as even having a scary scene, and I’m someone who has found just one other person who was equally traumatized by the “Boo-Box” scene in Hook.

Not only that, but in the classic ‘90s years, too. I don’t mean that as a Simpsons purist, just that they had so many fewer episodes, and hadn’t run out of ideas by then. Lunchlady Doris probably has her own episode by now. Apu probably had at least three before 2000.

Of course, the issue of Apu being offensive to

That’s more or less what springs to mind for me, too. I remember my then-10-year-old brother visibly wincing at those scenes in the theatre, and he’s always been a very stoic person. He’s my youngest brother, and I’ve seen him cry maybe once, but that scared the shit out of him.

I think enough time has passed since then that we can all agree to be more concerned with the angry internet fan element of it in general. I’m in the same boat as anyone with the prequels (though have very positive memories of seeing the 3rd one), but those concerns are fairly quaint considering even the milder sides

I always got the impression that it was written by an actual wannabe rapist.

Somewhere Michael J. Fox is exaggerating his condolences.

I mean .. you’re not entirely wrong about all of that, but it doesn’t really apply here. Just like what you said is not as extreme both-sideist as Marjorie Taylor-Greene saying that the media is as much to blame for the Capitol attacks as QAnon. At some point, equating both sides is just insane. The Trump years proved

I was surprised by how good it was, too. It has a Wonder Years feel to it.

Kevin James strikes me as the typical Hollywood nice guy who’s content to make generic family-friendly stuff, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I liked King of Queens as well, and it’s kind of funny that he seems to prefer going by “Kevin” fictionally, since he was “Doug” in the show, and it was the better choice,

Is anyone else 35 and having to explain to people that Star Wars was basically a spaghetti western in space with peak Harrison Ford being funny with a dorky hero and a sarcastic princess to the greatest music of the 20th century, and NOT white nationalism?

The President’s a Dem-ee-crat!

I also don’t see why whatever apology he gave gets to be deemed ‘too little, too late’ by a third-party publication. Hey, AV Club: he’s not apologizing to you, or the general public for that matter. The people he’s apologizing to can judge for themselves on the merits or timeliness of said apology. This is pure
