I could be wrong, but my perception is that the difference between the (say) Amazon and SyFy versions of the "previouslys" is simply that the SyFy version has a cast member voiceover, whereas the Amazon version has a title card that says "previously on The Expanse." But the actual sequence seems identical.

This comes up from time to time.

I haven't listened to it myself yet, but I have been told that on the official SyFy post-show podcast, it was confirmed by the writers that he was drinking beer. I guess he was bored.

If you watch carefully, he actually seems to expend some effort to drink out of the can. He puts his hand over the opening while moving it toward his mouth, and he makes rather exaggerated motions when trying to get it out of the can and into his mouth. They make a serious effort in the show to get things right, parti

This is certainly not my field; I'm just passing on what I heard. But what I heard did come directly from people associated with the show. If you're looking for more info, and you're brave, you can try wading into the subreddit for The Expanse (here). Someone has been posting +3 and +7 numbers there. Also, Daniel

Just for what it's worth, You asked if they would meet and I said yes. Whether she joins the crew or not is another question. Also, what constitutes being part of the crew? There's being there and being there, y'know? Be patient, though, I think eventually the story is going to make you happy. It may not be right

My understanding is that the numbers that most people look at nowadays (for this kind of show at least) are the "L+7" numbers, which encompass people who watch the show live as well as those who watch it from DVRs or on demand services or direct purchase, on the day of original airing and up to seven days afterward.

Yes.

Obviously, it's Bluetooth, which never has quite the range it's supposed to have.

Just found out, for what it's worth, that pampa (note: no W, despite the closed captioning and what's in the books) actually literally translates to "Uncle." This is per Nick Farmer tweet (in which he says he made an executive decision) and backed up by the Lang Belta Scholars (as it were) on the Lang Belta Subreddit.

I may be in a minority of the book readers in that this altered presentation didn't bother me a whole lot. I might even prefer it. I think what happens sometimes is that people who have read the source material develop favorite scenes, often based on their sheer spectacle or outrageousness, and they wait with bated

There is some diversion from the books that folks on other forums seem a
little to perturbed by, but the only one that bugs me is the dampening
of the shock and awe of what happened on Ganymede. IF it were filmed as
written though, I'm not sure Siffy could have aired it.

Yup. Literally "grandfather," but in the vernacular, something along the lines of "old man" or "old timer." Which can be used affectionately or derisively. Or some combination of both.

Wait, is that Vger you're quoting, or Nomad? Or are they actually one and the same? :)

am i the only one who thinks epsteins ship is how the aliens found out about us?

I know this is going to sound like an excuse, but I believe that's just the way she talks. If you hear her in interviews and stuff, her speech pattern is very similar, even when she's just conversing in (obviously) her own words. It can be a little off-putting, but I've grown used to it. I understand how others might

The accent you hear from Naomi is the natural accent of Dominique Tipper. There are any number of interviews and such you can watch or listen to that confirm this. There is also at least one of these in which she talks about the decision they made to have her use her natural accent in the show. If I remember

You might try here, kopeng.

Okay then.

Is that a serious comment or a joke? Dominique Tipper is British, yes. So is Jared Harris (Anderson Dawes). Steven Strait (Holden) and Thomas Jane (Miller) are American. Frankie Adams (Draper) is from New Zealand.
…And?
