I think it'll be great when working on the car, music for background and then any issues I can search online on the spot. And if it gets covered in grease who cares, its only $99 :P

Even if it had no apps, $99 was worth it for email, video and internet browsing. With the Kindle app it supposedly has, it is even more worthwhile. Ordered mine last night, thank you barnes and noble.

I don't have an issue with other companies making products that might not compare well to Apple, but for god's sake, don't charge the same price, or more, or even close if you want it to sell.

I'm sorry, but a per movie rental plan? GL with that.

Yes, I've been wanting a phone with an octagon shaped screen...

I would add, from what I've seen, electronic devices have the most potential to mess with the radio. During takeoff and landing, when the pilots are communicating a bit with the tower, this is actually quite important. It probably won't mess with the actual instruments, but if the a communication is missed or garbled

And this is exactly why kids shouldn't be involved in stuff like this, they do not have the emotional skills to deal with the real world. Don't feel bad, this is exactly what that kid needs to prepare him for the real world.

Well this isn't the first time I've said this, if you're going to spend all the rest of the money on a project like this, for god's sake shoot it with a real camera.

so out of curiosity, if these people started carrying around nametags that say 'Channel 10 News' or something, would they get the same response?

Seriously? If you are following the SeattlePD, this exactly what you want to see.

F-35 is a single turbofan, I think most of those Mach 2+ ones are dual. Beyond that redman042 is right, if they don't need it to go that fast they can gain performance in other areas, like fuel effeciency...

Must have been the # of Office 2011 for Mac sold.

After having my Samsung 10.1 Tab a couple months now, I wouldn't mind a thicker tablet, expecially if it came with all those ports. I think Sammy sacrificed too much to get it so thin, such as screws to hold the screen in, mine is already starting to come apart from the rest of the body...

as much as I dislike Fox news, Fox local channels are not the same thing...

Why limit yourself, I have email account everywhere, granted the Hotmail one is the one I use for anything that might get me spammed.

Or use the 'private mode' on your browser of choice, presto! See, bet you didn't think it had a purpose besides porn.

I liked this commercial, pretty clever. But now I want the Toughbook parody where it does fail to open the chute but survives the fall anyway.

Yeah, so far I have yet to see someone do that with the Samsung ones, waiting for that to happen if it even can with those instructions.

I wish it was that simple, there is a guide for the CR-48 but it involves flashing the BIOS.

So how about a reverse guide? I have the Samsung Chromebook and honestly in my usage, I see no difference between Chrome OS and just a netbook with Chrome installed. I'd love to get Windows on this thing because the hardware is amazing.
