At $30/mo for 5 GB of tetherable LTE, unlimited messages, and a paltry 100 minutes (who makes calls these days?)? I do.

I’m the opposite, I’ve gotten off all Google services. Either I use Apple’s or Microsofts. Everyone has caught up to Google with the added bonus of having a modicum of privacy as well.

Wait...

By uploading your photos to Google Photos, you grant them unlimited co-copyright holder status in perpetuity. They reserve the right to license, productize, and sell your photos without your consent, even if you cancel your membership or delete the photos. Even if you’re not a serious photographer, this still strikes

Can people (unless you live in a country without viable drinking water) please stop drinking bottled water altogether? It’s an absolutely huge unnecessary hit on the environment. Fill something up from the tap. Use a filter if you don’t like the taste.

Now playing

They’re actually all from the same hose out back:

It doesn’t really prevent online fraud. I personally like that my credit card lets me generate “shop safe numbers” to use online. Once it is charged by a vendor, no other vendor can charge to that number.

god dammit now that song’s in my head and you didn’t even have to name it

Agree 1000%. We meet all 4 criteria but got there by stressing out about it and sacrificing to meet our goals consistently. I still stress about it but to see that the steps we’ve taken have covered the basics is reassuring.

You’ll regret that decision when your wallet gets stolen and your real cash could have been in your pocket, and they would have just stolen your Monopoly money.

You know that most personal finance is obvious, right? (You exaggerate a bit with the bleeding part.) Still useful to keep exploring from every angle.

No way. We meet all 4. We have worked hard to get here. We keep pushing to save more and to invest more. We are not “rich” but live to a standard we have agreed to live at. Frankly, it angers me to hear people worry about how “rich” we may be. Worry about yourself, and life will be good.

Alternate alternate title: 4 signs you’re living within your means.

Hmmm - don’t agree. I am able to do these 4 things and I don’t consider myself rich/wealthy. I would also add that as of 5 years ago I would only be able to check off the first one (pay bills). It took a lot of reworking of my thought process and some auto saving/investing, but it’s possible.

Yup - looks like it’s on sale. :) I usually list the normal price in the article though, so people who read after the sale is over don’t feel like they’ve been misled.

Dang, have to update my iOS to download. Will tell my partner though, he’ll love this (and he has a newer phone)!

Is this faster than Knock? My biggest gripe with Knock is sometimes it doesn't connect right away and it truly becomes faster to just type in the password even though it is more of a passphrase (long).

Neat, but too slow/not fast enough compared to the orthodox method of typing your password in to be actually practical and/or useful.
