It's been a work in progress for, oh, about 8 years now. Progress is...progressing.

I've also found that reading aloud, what I have written, helps; especially when writing dialogue.

This is why Stephen King's works have a tendency of being too long. In his book, "On Writing," King states that he believes outlines are artistically harmful and recommends others to not outline their fiction. I wish some editor had to power to cut down King's work to improve it, but because he is one of the best paid
