A valid point, but surely 30 minutes is a long pit-stop nonetheless!

I will admit my last cross-country drive was with the intent of bringing a vehicle to the other coast over a weekend, so time was of high priority. However, when I road trip I love to explore as well, which is why I minimize rest-stop time to maximize the time I can spend visiting planned stops.

30 minute rest stops?? I don’t think you know how to do long drives properly. When I last drove across the country (1.5 months ago) I don’t think I had a single stop greater than 10 minutes in duration, and that’s including stretching. Could you imagine how long it would take to drive from SF to NY if you wasted 30…

It’s true that most truck owners could probably get a Ridgeline and not be hindered in the slightest, but that’s because they don’t use their trucks as trucks.
