My boring Toyota still runs...

This has been parked at the Petersen for a while now, you guys.

So what’s the cost of this repair? I like to bag on Tesla as much as the next gear-banging, noise-loving Jalop... But this sounds pretty minor... Or, at the very least, a lot less expensive and timing consuming repair than literally anything that pops up on a 120,000 mile Audi.

Give it some unique interior/exterior details like the Raptor and give it class-leading performance, throw a couple Lightning emblems on it, and they’ll probably sell as many as they can get batteries for at $70k.

It’s even a fake Toyota.

All the downsides of both towing and a tent wrapped up in one package.

The new Supra: All the excitement of a Toyota, now with the reliability of a BMW!

Toyota and BMW.

I’m preemptively rolling my eyes at the inane GM scare ads that will try to bash the F-150 Hybrid.

Those hybrids were only mild hybrids. They weren’t capable of moving the truck on batteries alone.

They just need a new marketing name for it so truck bros get tingles in their manhood. It’s not a Hybrid, its ‘Ford Power-Force-Eagle-I-Thrust’. Bonus points if it has a button labeled ‘Stump Pulling Mode’ for max torque everything.

Heh ... fun fact - I’m an iOS developer and, more specifically, the lead for the mobile dev group at my company. It’s basically my job to solve problems handed down from the top then, once solved, hand it off to my Jr. devs to polish it up.

Or we can have the rightist approach of checking his race, excusing his actions as ‘mental illness’, praying, handing out rocks to all of the drivers, and taking backhanders from the rock manufacturing industry :-)

this is the effect of lease programs, heavy debt and need to maximize resale value calculated at the time of purchase not just by the consumer but up the chain as the dealers and managers consider this a factor in buying cars. Also the abuse of fleet car buying that is a hidden profit center for some dealers.

It may not see a lot of off-road action here in the US, but it sure will in Mexico.

The next one was a big one and thirty yards long — a coach built limoship and obviously designed with one aim in mind, that of making the beholder sick with envy. The paintwork and accessory detail clearly said ‘Not only am I rich enough to afford this ship, I am also rich enough not to take it seriously.’ It was
