In the early 1980s, the National Lampoon ran a long text piece that was just a list of title-less movie spoilers (e.g. "Rosebud was his sled"; "It was Norman, dressed as his mother"). They weren't labelled as the word "spoilers," but the entire premise of the list was the definition of the concept.
