For Life Dr. Martens 1460 boots. I'll always have a heart pair of boots!

Fuck yes.

Most apps I've seen ask for a specific reason. Why add work for a Dev for nothing? People complain because they can't be bothered to think about it from the Dev side. In this case these are all good and necessary permissions to give.

If only MMS worked. :(

I kind of like the deep fry method. Yes, you get shrinkage, but there's something truly enjoyable about them curling all up. Kind of reminds me of a pigs tail. I like to put them inside a soft roll and make mini BLT's with them.

Yeah, not many drinking glasses are made of tempered glass. Being afraid to wash these is like being afraid of washing out of glasses you already have at home.

I live out in the burbs of Seattle. Recently our town has experienced a growth in micro breweries. All of them have free wifi, are kind of empty during the weekday, and a great place to end the day. When I work from home I tend to start the day in at home, go get lunch, then head to a brewery for the end of the day

Tandy 1000! I remember taking it out of the rolltop desk it was in to take it over near a phone outlet so I could get on a BBS. Fun times!

My wife and I are both the planning type so we are lucky. We learned long ago that most of getting on in life is about expectations. You plan and you expect things. If you are aware of things that can go wrong they don't seem so bad as when you are unaware.

Nope. I stopped eating breakfast quite a few years ago, I always found that I felt kind of sick afterwards. After many years of all sorts of issues with my stomach and finally being diagnosed with IBS and GERD I was kind of at my wits end as eating anything pretty much made me feel like crap. I ended up just saying

I bet my Dad saved our family thousands of dollars doing this over his working life. After a few boilermaker jobs after the Navy he ended up out at the Hanford Site. It's way out in the middle of nowhere so most people commute with someone or take a bus that goes out there. My Dad got his commercial drivers license

I found this enlightening about swearing. http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2009/03/30/why-do-we-swear/

I stay away from electrical projects in the home. I'm fine doing electrical on electronics and such, but the house scares the crap out of me.

Ha! I recently bought one for my Dad for Christmas (he loves the movie). Did a whole scavenger hunt for him to find it at the end. One of the best gifts I think I've ever given him, well besides a grandkid.

I'm glad I live in the Seattle area. I had no idea it was like this out there.
