I saw the Pietasters last year.  They were great.   They are well aware that nobody wants to hear new stuff from them.

I am actually a complete coffee snob, but to the point that I don’t drink coffee that much because it doesn’t meet my standards. Last year for Mother’s Day, I took my wife out for breakfast. The kids had slept at her parents’ house. And we were heading up to her parents for for dinner. We went to a Lebanese French

The Islanders played 20 games in Brooklyn and 21 games at the Coliseum this year. They have discovered a way to have the two single worst venues in the NHL as their home arena.  However, with all of the changes, they still managed to finish dead last in attendance for the second year in a row.  And they rank as the

I need an NHL team back in Quebec City so that I can open my food truck outside the arena- “Poutine on the Ritz”.

I bought a lot of vinyl in the mid to late 90's, when you could get REM records for about $2 each and the Beatles and Stones for $3. But then my turntable was destroyed by a roof collapsing in a storm.

Lousy small businesses allowing employees to relax!

That is a disgrace. And a really slap in the face to the progress we have made.

Same here.  I would say about every 2 months, I spend a Saturday afternoon buying stuff from small independent stores.  Most of them seem to be doing brisk business.  CDs seem to be a bit more hard to find.  But vinyl sells like crazy as do books.

I had a good record store growing up.  There were always 10-15 people in there who weren’t shopping.  And they would gladly help you find a record.  But I would say only 2 of them actually were getting paid to be there.

About 2 years ago, I was cleaning out my basement and had a ton of old CDs to sell. I took about 15 CDs to what used to be a struggling used CD store, but is now a thriving vinyl store. I asked the clerk if they bought them. He said, “No, take them to FYE.” I thought he was joking. I took them to FYE; they gave me

record stores—and, really, non-chain stores in general—have all but vanished in favor of digital media and behemoth, small business-swallowing companies.

Greg Koch can’t do anything without coming off like an asshole.  That has been his MO for 20 years.

Stone putting a brewery in Berlin was like an American trying to open a sushi restaurant in Japan.

Peter Bourjos was released by the 2016 Phillies, who were 20 games under .500.

We are not even allowed to mention the T-word in the house.  About once a month, one of my kids will pull me aside and quietly ask if we can go back to the trampoline park again someday.

Davis also has 2 RBI this year.

Last summer, it was the 4th day of a heat wave.  And my kids really wanted to get out of the house to do something.  So we went to a trampoline park because it was air conditioned.  About an hour into, I looked over and saw my wife rolling on a trampoline crying.  She had completely torn her ACL.  Ohh, and at the

I have the same problem. I started about 6 months ago. I had moved into a new house and changed jobs. I went from a 12-minute commute to a 45-minute commute on one of the worst roads in America (the Roosevelt Boulevard through Philadelphia.) My drive is 12 miles. 24 miles round trip. I spend close to 90 minutes each

I am 39 also.

Good thing they got back to Flushing, New York.
