“I’m worried about reliability, so I’d get a BMW instead.”
NEMESIS!!!!
I told Doug he may need to go older on this one, maybe ‘50s or ‘60s. But what’s interesting enough to draw an audience for a whole year? This is my top suggestion at the moment:
Difficult for even a skilled driver to handle and unmerciful in it’s punishment to even the slightest of missteps. Even I would be afraid of driving it, let alone allowing one of my over enthusiastic friends behind the wheel.
Looks gold and white to me
Man, if your comment is to shit on another man’s pride and joy, you need to step up your comment game.
Yeah, but you got this cool sticker!
My perfect car would be an E39 M5. Classic good looks, great engine, fairly reliable, sporty, and quite practical as well. You can do burnouts, track days, haul kids, and buy groceries all in one car. If I had to have only one car instead of three or four, I would just have an E39 M5.
Well done, Geely - that looks spot-on. Just the right elements of the old cab, but with a fresh look. Even a sort of Land Rover vibe to it. And of course building it in the UK will mean it will be just as high-quality and reliable as the one it replaces.
I have a theory that there has never once been an off-road video posted on the Internet where someone doesn’t comment on how easy it is and how they could do it in a far simpler, more basic vehicle. (Seriously — go check the comments section in off-roading YouTube videos.)
Well, that solves the weird design issue, IMHO. It was the last overly-cutesy design they had in the stable. And now it looks like a GTI’s fat cousin who’s still really cute in the face and totally muscular because she used to play basketball in college but sort of let herself go a little bit.
It was more from their tractor division than their Automobili division... and i love it.
How could any 911 possibly meet the $500 rule, when rusted out planter-quality chassis go for $10k? I know you can deduct based on parting out, but still...
I woke up in Poland once. She was a brunette.
The true story of how and why Jalopnik bought a Lada:
So was the car nice price or crack pipe?
May I ask you why you chose the owl plates for your CR-V instead of one of the other designs?
With the A45 AMG, RS3, Focus RS, Golf R, and upcoming Civic Type R, I really wonder what the mood is in Subaru’s board meetings since opting for a sedan only STi.
