If I close my eyes I can still taste the croissants in France, and they were the best I’ve ever had. Pretty sure it was because of the quality of their butter. I had one that looked like the ones in that picture, and it was divine.

I have no advice but kudos and best wishes in your career change! I was literally just doing one of those online career quizzes to see what I should be doing as a job lol. (I know what I need to do, it’s the starting over that’s scary.)

Absolutely! I mentioned on another article on here a while ago that the best “concert” I ever went to was a sing-a-long viewing of Purple Rain with a live band. And that was incredibly fun, but I wasn’t really paying attention to the story at the time. 

Oh god yes. I loved that as a kid too! It’s just assault after assault. It has it’s moments, but it’s just some young, straight white guy’s idea of funny which I’m just tired of.

Totally. Plus the way he treats Apollonia is just gross, but she just giggles writes it off because he’s troubled and moody. 

I loooove Prince, and I watched the Purple Rain movie again recently. It does not hold up well, and I doubt I’ll watch it again. Some things are better left in the past.
