It’s amazing, isn’t it? I used to live in a shitty, super crooked apartment right by a beach. Waking up to the waves and the sun on the water was life-giving. It was like being on a permanent vacation, even though I still had to work.

Vermont here, but my family lives in a solidly red state. We definitely have better social services and roads, but taxes are high.
