My dad’s Accord from 1988 had 13-inch wheels. The “Sporty” JDM Si model had 14-inch ones.

My `88 Festiva had 12 inch wheels. I swear I could have bought tires at Farm and Fleet!

Something, Something, Something, Yokohama Hankook Continental. Am I doing it right?

It has not been a Goodyear for residents of Warren, Michelin in General, someone needs to light a Firestone under the town council’s butts, the situation has the Potenza Toyo get out of hand, as this has become a disaster of Continental proportions, they Nitto get a road crew out there and fix the Falken hole!

You are not trying hard enough. Unbolt the passenger seat.

I’m beginning to wonder if these “no phone ‘cuz manual” folks have ever driven a manual.

This is a bizarre comparison that probably sounded much funnier in your head.

You taking your wagon to autocross?

Oh, you aren’t even buying one?

I’ll take mine with the open sky roof, please.

Sorry but in longer, more cavernous cars like wagons and SUV’s, the open roof feels less claustrophobic, especially when siting in the 2nd or 3rd rows which cars like this will see plenty of. This isn’t a performance car either so I can tolerate some added weight for the sake of comfort and I’m not an NBA player so

My best friend in HS/college had one from 2004 - 2016. I don’t even know how many miles were on that car, but last time I rode in it before he got rid of it the only thing wrong with it was some noisy rear struts.

The second gen ES300 might be one of the most reliable vehicles ever made.

I’ve got 93k miles on my 2015 V60 T5 and it’s only been wear and tear items (brakes, tires, oil changes, etc). It’s no more expensive to maintain than my wife’s Impreza, provided you do the work yourself and not at dealer rates.

I don’t know the why of it, but they offered him a price $1100 below what Edmunds says the invoice is, and said they’d install the factory accessory tow hitch for free.

They’ll depreciate where you’ll be able to afford buying one, they’ll still be expensive enough to maintain where you’ll probably choose not to. Volvo has packed a lot of technology into these, and that comes with expensive maintenance and expensive parts. Total cost of ownership on these will be every bit as nasty as

Agreed, but my first thought looking at this was, “God damn it, why does every car in the world now have to have those stupid creases along the side?” I think it detracts hugely from this design.

My dad, who’s generally not a crossover guy, is this close to buying this particular red XC60 T5 Inscription on which his local Volvo dealer is offering him a steal of a deal. He also likes the V90 but it’s too long for his garage.

The pre-facelift were my favorites. Six projectors on the front of that bitch if you got fog lamps? That’s awesome.

I still like the post-facelift 90's ES300s. The black/grey two tone was great.

Formula 3 includes driver weight in the minimum vehicle weight, so they’ll have to ballast the vehicle up to the minimum.
