I actually really like the car, but 15k is too steep for some concoction of a car that you didnt want in the first place.

These are the moves that make sense. Too early to boot Bottas for Ocon as Mercedes doesn’t need to take a risk like that. Ocon is a perfect fit for Renault as a rebuilding French team. Hulk is a consistent performer that would be great to replace Grosjean who can’t seem to ever get a lucky bounce.

I think Esteban to Renault makes the most sense. French driver on french team, and Hulk while consistent has not lit the F1 world on fire. Mercedes is too good to take a chance on Esteban not performing as well as Bottas.

I binged watched these last month and was embarrassed to tell my wife I was watching them. Is that weird?

I’ve always wanted this car after casino royale.  It has aged very well.

Hard to compare now, but are people going to cross-shop the gt350 and the c8 corvette?  Same price and same seating.  Thoughts?

I tend to agree with Jay, mass produced models will not be ICE.  This is likely closer than 20 years.  As long as they still allow older cars with ICE on the road I’m ok with that.

I was always shocked as a kid that there were no parachutes on airplanes or for the whole plane for that matter.  Seems pretty straightforward and worth it to me.

Imagine Mercedes selling 5 year old drivetrain technology to these guys?

This is a winner.  Likely wouldn’t sell that well in America but it does check all the boxes for what people actually need.

Has to be GT3 RS in my book.

I have a 2017 Forester XT lease and noticed in early spring that the AC wasn’t working. The AC condensor was broken and needed replacing. $700 job covered by warranty, after less than 20k miles.

Hybrid turbo v6 engine... are they building their own?  They are in F1 but have used Renaults and Hondas, but seem to be developing a road version themselves?  Interesting stuff.

Some of these photos are breathtaking!  I love the 917, but such and wide range of cars to look at.

I love this.  I think I would have tried my best to get the weight down another 198 lbs though...

Thankfully, it was also an entertaining race to watch!

I really like the mk7 but this is not a bad redesign.  I agree with others, it looks lower somehow.  Probably from stretching the length to trick the eye?

It’s extreme as a concept, but wouldn’t this be a good direction to go for the crosstrek?

This sounds amazing.  Sign me up for 1500HP and grippier tires in F1.  Instead they are heading more towards efficiency which is cool, but all out speed would be even cooler.

This book is so good.  It is HUGE and while i knew of Adrian Newey, kind of, I had no idea how successful he has been for so long.  I have a friend at work who also started watchign F1 recently and I gave it to him to read.  Now I want it back to read again!
